Saint Pius X Catholic School Used Uniform Site on Facebook
The HASA board manages a Facebook page to buy and sell SPX compliant uniforms throughout the year.
Q: How do I find the site?
A: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2544564419110554/
Or in the Facebook Search tab - St. Pius X Catholic School Used Uniform Site
Request to be a member of the group.
Q: How do I buy items I find on the site?
A: Type “WANT” in the comments section of the item you wish to purchase. You will then communicate with the seller usually via private message to arrange payment and pick-up.
Q: How do I sell items on this site?
A: Upload a picture of the item and list the Size, Price of each article of clothing, if it’s gender specific. (Example: $5 Lands End, Navy blue polo, Med., Female). Once your item is sold- please mark it as sold or delete the post. This will help keep the site neat and organized.
Q: What can be sold?
A: All uniform compliant clothing, shoes, and rest mats. All items must be in nearly new or gently used condition. Items with tears, holes, cracks, stains, missing buttons, broken zippers, etc should not be sold on this site.
Q: I am looking for a particular item and I am unable to find anything for sale on the site.
A: You may post the following : Example: ISO (in search of) size 6 boys gym pants.
Q: Can I post unrelated questions or comments on the page?
A: No, this site is for the buying and selling of used uniforms only.
Q: What do I do if I want to use the site but I do not have Facebook?
A: You would have to ask a friend that does have Facebook to assist you in the buying and selling or you may create a facebook account.
Q: I was told a private message was sent, but I see nothing in my inbox.
A: Sometimes messages from people who aren’t your Facebook “friends” fall under the “message requests” category at the top left side of the message drop down. Click on this title and you should see any hidden messages from people not currently connected to you as friends.
Q: Does this take the place of the Used Uniform Sale that is usually held in June?
A: It does. We will no longer have a used sale but will continue to have the “new uniform” sale that all of our vendors attend.
