Student support services are available to all students enrolled at Saint Pius X Catholic School. The services are designed to meet the individual educational needs of any student.
Students with formal educational plans receive services. Plans include:
Individual Service Plans (ISP) - An ISP is the private school version of an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for students with identified disabilities including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, speech and language, and other health impairments.
Catholic Accommodation Plans (CAP) - These Diocesan plans are similar to 504 plans, typically designating support for students with conditions such as attention deficit disorder, anxiety disorder, or medical conditions that impact their educational access.
Individual Learning Plans (ILP) - These plans support English Language Learners.
The Strategic Intervention Team (SIT) provides a multi-tiered structure to support the academic and behavioral needs of all students with increasing levels of intervention and progress monitoring.
The Resource staff works closely with classroom teachers to provide accommodations and support to meet the educational needs of all students.
Individualized behavioral and sensory support recognizes the various learning styles of students to maximize learning.
Individual and group services are available for students in need of social or emotional support.
