My husband and I were pleased to discover that our two boys, ages 4 and 9, are like sponges absorbing both the prayer and scripture as taught in the Saint Pius curriculum. In addition, my husband and I have deepened our religious knowledge and faith.

CATHOLIC IDENTITY
Saint Pius X Catholic School is committed to helping form students (together with their parents and families) in the Catholic Christian faith by promoting knowledge of the faith, knowledge of the liturgy and sacraments, moral formation, prayer, and formation into the broader Christian faith community.
In keeping with the philosophy and mission of the Catholic schools, it is the policy of the Diocese that all students enrolled in its Catholic schools shall participate in the complete religion program, including religion classes, and liturgical functions. (Diocesan Policy 4060)
Students in grades K-3 participate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program, which you can learn more about here. Students in 4-8 are taught the Diocesan mandated curriculum by dedicated religion teachers as part of their regular school day.
Students also learn about the importance stewardship in the Saint Pius X Step-by-Step Stewardship Program. -

Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Church recognizes the existence of Seven Sacraments instituted by the Lord. They are the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist), the Sacraments of Healing (Penance and the Anointing of the Sick), and the Sacraments at the Service of Communion (Marriage and Holy Orders). Through the Sacraments, God shares his holiness with us so that we, in turn, can make the world holier (www.usccb.org). -
LITURGIES
A highlight of attending Catholic school is the privilege of attending Mass on a weekly basis.
